Los Angeles has so much creative talent, from storytellers to visual artists, directors to designers. 

With great power comes great responsibility; the impact of our city shapes culture globally. Let’s redirect our energy to collectively build a thriving LA to show the world what’s possible.

Initiatives: 

1. Network & Education: learning from others that are already doing the good work and putting up the good fight

   • Meet local creatives via virtual or casual in-person meetups, sharing ideas and learning together

   • Build relationships and connect with local organizations, nonprofits, and education institutions 

   • Activities such as: fun field trips like visiting the LA eco village, presentations from local creatives, zero-waste picnics at parks all around the city

2. Climate Design Career Prep

   • For creatives wanting to take climate action, we connect them with opportunities through partnerships and volunteer organizations, such as Hackathon for the Urban Farmers’ Almanac website, Climate Cents, and more!

3. Community Involvement

   • Volunteer meet-up opportunities to help with native plant gardens, habitat restoration projects, beach clean ups, LA river cleanups, and more

   • Get involved in climate justice action and policy change initiatives
